iScan Imaging Centre
iScan Imaging Centre is an ultramodern Diagnostic and Imaging Medical Centre located in the heart of Mumbai, at Kemps Corner. Dr Anand Gupta and Dr Devang Desai, two Radiologists, who have special expertise and exhaustive in-depth experience in MRI and CT, helm it. They bring in a combined experience of more than 20 years of clinical practice.

iScan Imaging Centre aims to provide the latest and most innovative diagnostic and imaging facilities in an extremely patient-friendly environment. The Kemps Corner centre is equipped with the most advanced 3 Tesla MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) Magnetom Spectra, which will be the first of its kind in Mumbai and the very first 3 Tesla MRI in a private centre in South Mumbai. All advanced imaging including DTI, Perfusion study, 3D Spectroscopy, SWI, Cartilage Mapping etc. is available, along with Cardiac, Breast and Fetal Imaging.

The centre has an ultrafast 194 slice CT (Computed Tomography) Scanner, which is capable of delivering high resolution images, performing accurate noninvasive Coronary (Cardiac CT) and other Angiographies, 3D imaging, and all other advanced applications as well as guided-interventional procedures.

iScan Imaging Centre is conveniently located on the ground floor of “Cornelian”, diagonally opposite Cumballa Hill Hospital, on August KrantiMarg at Kemps Corner. iScan provides routine services by appointment from Monday to Saturday, between 8am and 8pm, and on Sundays between 9am and 1pm, with 24hrs emergency CT and MRI services. Ambulance service is available as well. Urgent reports would be provided within 2 hrs.

  • Dr Devang Desai

    Dr Devang Desai MBBS; DMRD; DNB (Radio-diagnosis), completed his undergraduation from K.J. Somaiya Medical College, Mumbai in 1998. Thereafter he received his postgraduate training in Radiology in K.L.E.S. Hospital Belgaum, Karnataka and Bombay Hospital and Medical Research Centre, Mumbai in 2002.

    He then worked as a Clinical Associate in Bombay Hospital and Medical Research Centre, Mumbai.

    Thereafter he worked as a Consultant Radiologist in the Department of CT Scan and MRI in SRL Diagnostics - Jankharia Imaging Centre, Mumbai from 2005 to 2013. He was also a Consultant with the PET/CT department of SRL Diagnostics since its inception in 2008 until 2013.

    He has received extensive training in High-end CT, MRI and PET/CT work as well as in CT-guided interventional procedures. He is also affiliated with Dadar Imaging and Diagnostic Centre, which is a specialized Ultrasonography and Colour Doppler Clinic in Dadar, Mumbai.

    His special interests are in head and neck, abdominal, musculoskeletal and cardiac imaging as well as CT-guided interventional procedures.

    He has attended several national and international conferences over the years to further progress his knowledge.

  • Dr Anand Gupta

    Dr Anand Gupta did his undergraduate and postgraduation medical studies at Grant Medical College, JJ Group of Hospitals, where he got his MBBS, DMRD and DNB(Radiology) degrees. Over the years he has performed umpteen number of interventional procedures, especially CT-guided biopsies. Dr Anand has been Consultant Radiologist with expertise in High-end MR & CT for past 12 years in the best private diagnostic centres in Mumbai and was the Chief Consultant in MRI at Hiranandani Hospital, Powai for the past 5 years.
    Over the years, Dr Anand has had several Publications and taken multispeciality Lectures. His special interests are in High field MRI especially in Neurosciences , Musculoskeletal radiology and Cardiac MRI/ CT along with CT-guided interventions.
